On January 5, 2017 Dr. Susan Woods Au.D, CCC-A, FAAA of Speech and Hearing Associates was invited to present information on Central Auditory Processing Disorders to the Child Study Team for the Edgewater School District. Topics that were covered included symptoms of CAPD, individualized reports, FM systems, and the importance of a teacher’s role.

On December 21, 2016 Dr. Melanie Mindel Au.D, CCC-A, FAAA of Speech and Hearing Associates was invited to present information on Central Auditory Processing Disorders to the Child Study Team for the West Orange School District. Topics that were covered included symptoms of CAPD, individualized reports, FM systems, and the importance of a teacher’s role.

The Montclair Bikery Turkey Ride was a success! Contributions were matched by Partners for Health and the bikery was able to give the Human Needs Food Pantry of Montclair, New Jersey over $21,000! Shout out to Dr. Jennifer Livelli, Au.D. in our Woodland Park location and her son Ryan who participated in the ride!

Speech and Hearing Associates Doctor of Audiology, Melanie Mindel, presented a two hour professional development program to 20 of SHA’s speech language pathologists. This presentation is part of SHA’s ongoing continuing education programs for its professional staff.
