If your child has difficulty with starting or completing tasks, following directions, switching between activities or organizing their thoughts, they may struggle with executive function. Executive function refers to a set of skills that help us plan, make goals and finish activities.
We’re launching two weekly groups to help children build these skills. Participants will further develop their abilities in planning, remembering, organizing thoughts and self-monitoring.
- 3:30-4 p.m. Thursdays: This playgroup for ages 6-8 focuses on creating a toolkit for kids to support executive function skills.
- 4-4:30 p.m. Wednesdays: This group for ages 9-12 focuses on developing strategies for kids to support improved executive function in daily life for academics, socialization and at home.
