Pooja Shah
Speech-Language Pathologist
Pooja earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Hearing from Temple University and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College. She is a bilingual speech-language pathologist who is fluent in both English and Gujarati. Pooja has worked with both typically developing children and children on the autism spectrum. She has experience with articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language and social skills. Pooja has worked in the school system and private practice. In addition, she has experience working with adults benefiting from accent modification. She has also worked with the geriatric population in multiple skilled nursing homes, and has experience with aphasia, dysphagia and cognitive-communication disorders resulting from neurodegenerative disorders and stroke.
Pooja holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Pooja also holds a Speech-Language Specialist certification from the New Jersey Department of Education.
