Susan Woods
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Woods is licensed both as an Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser. Susan received her B.S. degree from Michigan State University, her M.A. degree from The College of New Jersey, and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences. She received her clinical training in diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing at Michigan State University’s Speech and Hearing Clinic, The College of New Jersey’s Audiology Clinic, and with Speech & Hearing Associates at several acute care hospitals and private offices.
Susan’s specialties include assessment of peripheral and central auditory processing disorders and hearing aids. She is frequently invited to make professional presentations to civic organizations, and senior citizens groups on topics ranging from “How we Hear” to “The Latest in Hearing Aid Technology.”
Susan is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association, the New Jersey Speech and Hearing Association, the New Jersey Academy of Audiology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American Speech and Hearing Association and is licensed as an Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser in New Jersey. She joined Speech & Hearing Associates in 1998.
