Ann Martino
Speech-Language Pathologist
Ann Martino earned her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at Temple University and her Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and Linguistics at the University of Delaware.
Ann strives to provide client-centered, neurodiversity-affirming and inclusive therapy services for individuals and families from all backgrounds. Therapy goals are targeted in the most naturalistic and functional ways possible. For children, family involvement and play are two essential components of effective therapy. Ann has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from 12 months to 100+ years old. She loves working with individuals with a wide range of speech, language, communication and swallowing challenges.
Ann is a SpeechEasy provider, a licensed SPEAK OUT! provider, an NLA-trained clinician, PROMPT Level 1 trained, Hanen More Than Words certified and DTTC trained. While Ann has experience with these approaches, she strongly believes that every client deserves to be respected as a unique individual; one size does not fit all. Instead, Ann collaborates with clients and families to determine the most appropriate techniques for each individual. Ann is passionate about lifelong learning and providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy services.
Ann holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in New Jersey and holds her Speech-Language Specialist certification from the New Jersey Department of Education.
