She decided she wanted to hone her skill set and become more specialized. Melinda graduated from Seton Hall University, with a Master in Science in Speech-Language Pathology and was awarded \u201cOutstanding All-Around Student\u201d for both clinical and academic excellence as well as being inducted into the Alpha Eta honor society.\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-7065 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/speechandhearingassoc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Melinda-Sheehan-173x300-173x300-1.png\" alt=\"Melinda Sheehan\" width=\"173\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Melinda is a strong proponent of using functionally based activities within her therapy to promote skill generalization, communication and independence.
