{"id":3250,"date":"2018-11-30T12:52:09","date_gmt":"2018-11-30T17:52:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/speechandhearingassoc.fm1.dev\/it-takes-two-to-talk-hanen-workshop-for-parents\/"},"modified":"2018-11-30T12:52:09","modified_gmt":"2018-11-30T17:52:09","slug":"it-takes-two-to-talk-hanen-workshop-for-parents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/speechandhearingassoc.com\/it-takes-two-to-talk-hanen-workshop-for-parents\/","title":{"rendered":"It Takes Two to Talk Hanen Workshop for Parents!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Speech and Hearing Associates is excited to announce that our certified Hanen providers will be offering the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hanen.org\/Programs\/For-Parents\/It-Takes-Two-to-Talk.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>It Takes Two to Talk<\/em><em><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/em><\/a> Hanen workshop for parents of children under the age of 5 years who have been diagnosed with language delays.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">This workshop consists of eight (8) two and one-half hour small group sessions led by our Hanen certified speech language pathologists. In addition, three (3) individual one-on-one sessions with parent(s), child, and SLP will be scheduled to provide family specific practice of learned skills.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This evidence-based program, which was developed by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hanen.org\/About-Us\/What-We-Do\/Early-Childhood-Language-Delays\/How-Hanen-Helps-Parents.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Hanen Centre<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/a>, is well-known around the world.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hanen.org\/Helpful-Info\/Research\/It-Takes-Two-to-Talk-Parent-Research.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Studies<\/a> on It Takes Two to Talk<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> have shown that when parents learn to use <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8961 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/speechandhearingassoc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/parentchild-pic.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" \/>the program&#8217;s strategies, their children&#8217;s communication skills improve.
