We are thrilled to announce that Melissa Silva<\/a>, MS, CCC-SLP has been named a 2019 Kids\u2019 Favorite Doc!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Melissa is one of our bilingual (Portuguese\/English) Speech and Language Pathologist.<\/a> Melissa has experience working with clients aging from infants to adults in many different settings including a public-school district and home therapy. She has treated patients with a variety of communication disorders such as, communication impairments, cognitive impairments, autism, auditory processing disorders, articulation and more. Melissa is an adjunct faculty member at Seton Hall University, educating graduate students on her experience with bilingual therapy and evaluations.<\/p>\n

Her treatment approach includes collaboration with teachers, occupational, physical and ABA therapists to provide the most comprehensive care for her patients. She is also one of our social skills group\/fluency group<\/a> therapists and conducts and runs group sessions for children in various age groups.<\/p>\n
