Dominique Iacovelli earned her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science with a concentration in Communication Disorders, as well as a minor in Childhood Studies from Stockton University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dominique has enhanced her clinical skills through her experience and exposure across the board in the public school, specialized school, private practice, and hospital settings. She has worked with the pediatric population to evaluate and\/or treat articulation errors, phonological disorders, receptive\/expressive language disorders, Autism, ADHD, and pragmatic deficits. Additionally, she has experience evaluating and treating adult and geriatric populations with a variety of disorders and diagnoses including dysarthria, aphasia, apraxia, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia\/swallow disorders secondary to stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological deficits. Dominique has hands-on experience working with low-tech and high-tech Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices for multiply disabled populations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dominique advocates for her patients and is motivated to provide the highest level of care and support. She believes that interprofessional collaboration, counseling, and education to the patient and family is essential in providing both functional and meaningful care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
