Marykate Vaughn, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Vaughn is licensed in New Jersey as both an Audiologist and a Hearing Aid Dispenser. She has extensive experience working with children with auditory disorders and is currently the NJ state representative for the Educational Audiology Association. Dr. Vaughn has been an invited lecturer to many groups on topics related to the evaluation and treatment of auditory processing disorders, including the New Jersey Speech and Hearing Association and the New Jersey branch of the International Dyslexia Association.
Dr. Vaughn also has a special interest in working with the geriatric population. She enjoys interacting with patients and their families to find the best solutions for the listening challenges that often face seniors. In addition to thoroughly evaluating and educating each patient on their specific hearing loss, Dr. Vaughn uses digital hearing aid technology and assistive devices combined with counseling on appropriate and effective listening strategies to give her patients better tools to communicate.
Dr. Vaughn currently serves on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Speech and Hearing Association and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
