Lauren Vollmin, MS, CCC-SLP
Lauren went to Ithaca College and graduated with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Speech Language Pathology
and minors in Spanish and Aging Studies.
Lauren has clinical experience in a variety of settings with children of all ages and adults. Lauren’s experience includes working as a Speech-Language Specialist in a local school district, providing services through NJ Early Intervention to children aged birth-3, and in our private offices. Previous to her work in a K-8 school district, Lauren worked in a preschool program for children with developmental disabilities, including autism, apraxia, and multiple disabilities. Lauren has extensive clinical training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), both low and high tech. Lauren has additional experience with auditory processing, articulation and phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, pragmatic language disorders, dysphagia, aphasia, fluency, and voice disorders. Lauren is PROMPT trained.
Lauren holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and has New Jersey licensure in Speech-Language Pathology. Lauren also holds a Speech-Language Specialist certification from the New Jersey Department of Education and an initial certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities in New York State.
