Katie Provel, MA, CCC-SLP
Katie earned her Master of Art degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Kean University. She also holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Communication Disorders and Deafness from Kean University.
Katie has extensive experience with evaluating and treating communication delays, motor planning, oral motor deficiencies and feeding problems in children aged 10 months through 3 years through NJ Early Intervention. She has training and is certified in the Hanen program which is an extensive family-centered program for toddlers and pre-school aged children with language delays. Katie also has experience in evaluating and treating children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, ADD, learning disabilities, cognitive deficits, language processing, apraxia, fluency, dysphagia, motor planning, voice, receptive expressive, pragmatic language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders. In addition, she has experience in evaluating and treating adults with fluency, voice, dysphagia, receptive and expressive language disorders and aphasia. Katie is PROMPT trained.
Katie’s passion is in working with and helping individuals of all ages and their families with communication deficits. She believes that all individuals should be given the opportunity to communicate (in any way that best suits them) with others in order to fulfill emotional, intellectual, social and vocational needs.
Katie holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (NJSHA) and State of New Jersey licensure in the field of Speech Language Pathology.
