Heather Brook, MA, CCC-SLP
Heather Brook received her Bachelor of Science degree in Television Production from Syracuse University and her Master of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology from The College of New Jersey.
After working in the children’s television industry, Heather realized she wanted to interact with children, and decided to change careers and became a speech therapist. This enabled her to have a direct positive impact on children.
Heather has over 15 years of public school experience, having worked with children ranging from pre-K through high school. She also has prior experience working for the New Jersey Early Intervention System with children ages birth to 3. Heather has also evaluated and treated populations including articulation, receptive and expressive language, auditory processing, fluency, apraxia, ADHD, and ASD. Additionally, she has experience with ABA therapy as well as Prologque2Go. Heather has previously worked for Speech & Hearing Associates in a variety of settings.
Heather holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Language Hearing Association, State of New Jersey licensure in the field of Speech Language Pathology, and the Speech Language Specialist certification from the New Jersey Department of Education. She is also a member of both the New Jersey Speech-Language Hearing Association as well as the Morris County Speech and Hearing Association.
