Lauren Cavallaro, MS, CCC-SLP
Lauren Cavallaro earned her Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University and Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University. She did postbaccalaureate studies at the University of Washington where she earned an additional Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences.
Lauren has had experience evaluating and treating a variety of speech, language, and swallowing disorders across the lifespan, including: articulation/phonological disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders, aphasia, traumatic brain injury, fluency disorders, aural rehabilitation, dysarthria, voice disorders, and dysphagia. She has gained these experiences across a variety of settings including an inpatient hospital, private practice, university clinics, and public and private schools. She also has experience working with AAC devices for both pediatric and adult clients.
Lauren believes in the importance of collaborating with her patient’s family members, caregivers, and other professionals in order to carry over the work that is done in speech therapy so that the maximum potential of success is reached.
Lauren holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in New Jersey.
