Kayla Zakrzewski, MS, CCC-SLP
Kayla Zakrzewski received her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University and Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Stockton University.
Throughout clinical internships Kayla has been trained to evaluate and treat pediatric and geriatric patients in various settings including public school districts, private schools, and inpatient acute care hospitals. Kayla implements and devises treatment plans during sessions with patients who present with various disorders. These disorders include articulation/phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, expressive and receptive language, social communication, fluency, oral motor, swallowing, feeding, aphasia, and cognitive disorders. Kayla also has experience with AAC and conducting social communication groups for students and adults on the Autism Spectrum at JFK Medical center.
Kayla believes communication is the essence of human life. She strives to assist her patients to find their voice.
Kayla holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). In addition, Kayla also holds Speech and Language Specialist certification from the New Jersey Department of Education and State of New Jersey Licensure in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
